FANTASTIC FUJI ONE-TWO FOR TOYOTA GAZOO RACING

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing delighted an enthusiastic home crowd by earning a one-two victory in the 6 Hours of Fuji, the fourth round of the 2018-19 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).

AUDI CUSTOMERS FINISH 2018 BLANCPAIN GT SERIES ASIA ON A HIGH

Alessio Picariello and Anthony Liu equalled their best finish of the season in the final race of the 2018 Blancpain GT Series Asia, taking second overall. The result saw them record the round 12 Pro/Am class win from Absolute Racing teammates Adderly Fong and Andrew Kim, who crossed the line sixth overall after a strong comeback drive.

PORSCHE EXTENDS WEC CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD AFTER WIN AT FUJI

The Porsche GT Team has won the six-hour race at the Fuji Speedway in Japan. At round four of the FIA WEC World Sports Car Championship, Kevin Estre (F) and Michael Christensen (DK) crossed the finish line in first place in the GTE-Pro category with the ca. 510 hp Porsche 911 RSR. The sister car driven by Richard Lietz (A) and Gianmaria Bruni (I) concluded the race in fifth place. With this, Porsche has extended its lead in the manufacturers’ and drivers’ classifications. Porsche also won the GTE-Am category on Sunday: The newcomer team Project 1 with Porsche works driver Jörg Bergmeister from Germany, Patrick Lindsey (USA) and Egidio Perfetti (N) secured its maiden victory in the WEC. 

SUCCESSFUL WEEKEND FOR THE BMW M8 GTE ON TWO CONTINENTS: SECOND POSITION AT FUJI, THIRD PLACE AT ROAD ATLANTA

Two continents, two race series, two podiums: BMW M Motorsport can look back on a successful weekend with the new BMW M8 GTE. António Félix da Costa (POR) and Tom Blomqvist (GBR) finished second for BMW Team MTEK in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) round at Fuji (JPN) driving the #82 BMW M8 GTE in the LM GTE Pro class. At the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season finale at Road Atlanta (USA), BMW Team RLL’s John Edwards (USA), Jesse Krohn (FIN) and Chaz Mostert (AUS) came third in the GTLM category and were also celebrating on the podium.

ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE GTE TAKES ANOTHER STEP FORWARD IN JAPAN

The new Aston Martin Racing Vantage GTE took another important step towards victory in the FIA World Endurance Championship in Japan. While still only four races old, the new Aston Martin comfortably led the early stages of the 6 Hours of Fuji and went on to secure another double-points finish.

At the end of the gruelling 10-hour race, the Paul Miller Lamborghini skilfully piloted by Bryan Sellers, Madison Snow and endurance teammate Corey Lewis accomplished what they set out to do – take home the first-ever IMSA championship for their team owner and Lamborghini.

FFF RACING, LAMBORGHINI, LIND AND KODRIC SEAL GT3 TITLE WITH VICTORY IN BLANCPAIN GT SERIES ASIA NINGBO SEASON FINALE

FFF Racing Team by ACM and Lamborghini capped a memorable Blancpain GT Series Asia campaign at Ningbo earlier this morning by wrapping up four GT3 titles. A third victory of 2018 was more than enough for Dennis Lind and Martin Kodric to claim the Overall and Silver Cup crowns, while Hiroshi Hamaguchi and Marco Mapelli’s Pro/Am success also helped the Chinese squad celebrate the Teams’ title.

Geoff Emery and Garth Tander have won an extraordinary Australian GT finale and the  Hampton Downs 500.

Saturday evening at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, Paul Miller Racing, with drivers Bryan Sellers and Madison Snow, with endurance addition Corey Lewis finished the Motul Petit Le Mans in third place, clinching the 2018 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Team, Driver, and Manufacturer championship titles.

WEATHERTECH RACING WINS AT PETIT LE MANS

Cooper MacNeil (Hinsdale, Ill.), Gunnar Jeannette (Salt Lake City, Ut.) and Daniel Serra (Brazil) won the GTD Class in today’s running of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Motul Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.
