On 15th December, the opening race in Ad Diriyah (KSA) sees the BMW i Andretti Motorsport team get its first season in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship underway. BMW works driver António Félix da Costa (POR) has known the series from Season 1. Now, together with BMW i Andretti Motorsport, he opens a new chapter. In an interview he talks about the impressive development of Formula E and the new challenges with the BMW iFE.18 in Season 5.

The battle for the 2018 Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup GT3 championship title goes down to the wire this weekend with a double-header season finale at Malaysia’s 5.54km Sepang International Circuit. Four drivers remain in contention for the title – points leader Bhurit Bhirombhakdi of Singha Plan-B by Absolute Racing, ProMax Team’s Andrew Haryanto, The Bend Motorsport Park’s Yasser Shahin and Sun Jingzu of Absolute Racing, with the winner receiving a one-of-a-kind production Audi R8.

The final race of the season takes place at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Jump in the cockpit with our F1 Esports star Mads Sørensen and experience the thrill of this track!

Kubica is back on the F1 grid and he will be racing for Williams from 2019.

The GT racing season will end in spectacular fashion on 30 November-1 December when the inaugural Bapco Bahrain GT Festival brings the curtain down on a thrilling year of competition.

It was great to lead the Shanghai 6 Hours round of the FIA World Endurance Championship with Aston Martin Racing, and we were really encouraged by our performance over the whole weekend. Unfortunately, Maxime Martin and I were denied a podium for our #97 Aston Martin Vantage GTE at the last gasp, but we go into the winter extremely positive about our pace.

Mercedes-AMG Motorsport celebrated a double podium in the FIA GT World Cup which took place within the framework of the Macau Grand Prix weekend. The number 888 Mercedes-AMG GT3 driven by Maro Engel (GER) finished second ahead of last year’s winner Edoardo Mortara (SUI) in P3 in a hotly contested GT3 race. Mercedes-AMG Motorsport drivers have now featured on the podium of the prestigious race in Macau for the fifth year in succession.

The final race of the season will be under the setting sun in the Gulf.

B-Quik Racing Co. Ltd. TM (“B-Quik Racing”) is all set to wrap up the on track season this coming weekend at Sepang Circuit with Henk J. Kiks and Daniel Bilski entering the final round of the Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup while our Young Driver Programme will take part in the Sepang 1000 Km.
