KCMG READY TO TACKLE ITS FINAL 24-HOUR RACE OF 2019 AT SPA

KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) heads to Belgium for the third round of the 2019 Intercontinental GT Challenge, the fourth and final 24-hour race it will take part in this year, the Total 24 Hours of Spa (25-28 July).

RACE DEBUT AT SPA FOR THE PORSCHE 911 GT2 RS CLUBSPORT AND THE PORSCHE 935

Two special GT2 models will make their debut on the occasion of the 24 Hours of Spa (25 to 28 July). In the 700 hp Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport and Porsche 935, ambitious private drivers will go head-to-head. The 15-strong international field will contest a 30-minute race on both Friday and Saturday. Several well-known drivers line up on the 7.004-kilometre Ardennes rollercoaster circuit: FIA-WEC drivers Christian Ried (D) and Egidio Perfetti (N) celebrate their GT2 debut along with the American driver James Sofronas, who contests the 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge America, as well as the two Creventic 24h Series drivers Steffen Görig (D) and Mark Ineichen (CH).

BENTLEY SEEKS CENTENARY SUCCESS AT SPA

Bentley Team M-Sport is hoping to capitalise on recent successes by taking victory in the 70th running of the biggest race on the GT3 calendar; the 24 Hours of Spa (25-28 July). 

R-MOTORSPORT TO CONTEST THE 24 HOURS OF SPA WITH THREE ASTON MARTINS

Not long to go now: The Total 24 Hours of Spa (25th – 28th July) counts as one of Europe’s biggest and most prestigious endurance races. R-Motorsport will be contesting the standout fixture of the 2019 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup with three cars.

NINE PORSCHE 911 GT3 R TACKLE THE WORLD’S MOST IMPORTANT GT3 RACE

Porsche and its international customer teams take on the Spa 24-hour race with an impressive fleet of 911 GT3 R. A total of nine GT3 racing cars from Weissach will tackle the event at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) on 27/28 July, six of them in the GTE-Pro class. The tradition-steeped event in the Ardennes counts towards the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and is also round three of the Intercontinental GT Challenge. The customer squad ROWE Racing fields three Porsche 911 GT3 R with nine drivers from the factory squad of the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer. KÜS Team75 Bernhard, GPX Racing and Dinamic Motorsport also campaign a 500+hp Porsche 911 each in the top category.

FOUR BMW TEAMS AND FIVE BMW M6 GT3 TO RACE AT THE 24 HOURS OF SPA

This weekend features another highlight of the endurance season – the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (BEL). For BMW Team Schnitzer and Walkenhorst Motorsport, this also forms the third race of the season in the International GT Challenge. Walkenhorst Motorsport travels to the Ardennes as defending champion following last year’s victory in Belgium.

The 2019 TOTAL 24 Hours of Spa will feature the strongest ever Aston Martin partner team entry as the British sportscar manufacturer bids to secure its first outright victory in the legendary Belgian race this weekend.

LARGEST EVER INTERCONTINENTAL GT CHALLENGE ENTRY DESCENDS ON 24 HOURS OF SPA

The largest entry in Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli history will tackle the world’s biggest GT3 race this weekend when 28 cars representing eight manufacturers compete at the 71st Total 24 Hours of Spa.

THRILLING CLASS BATTLES IN PROSPECT AT THE 2019 24 HOURS OF SPA

While the battle for overall honours provides the main attraction, the Total 24 Hours of Spa is very much a multi-class contest. Indeed, the action that take place elsewhere in the field is just as competitive as what you will see at the front. After 24 hours of racing, the champagne tastes just as sweet whether you are a class winner or the overall victor.

ACE1 VILLORBA CORSE SHINES IN ELMS DEBUT IN BARCELONA

First take is good for the new endurance project of ACE1 Villorba Corse team, which made its debut last weekend in the 4 Hours of Barcelona on the Catalan circuit of Montmelò, immediately taking the first point finish in an international championship as the European Le Mans Series. Authors of a consistent race without any errors neither on the track nor in the pits, the team led by Raimondo Amadio and the crew formed by the Japanese driver Yuki Harata and Italians Alessandro Bressan and Gabriele Lancieri clinched a precious ninth place in the LMP3 category with their Ligier JS P3 Nissan prototype.
