VILLORBA CORSE BACK TO THE BLANCPAIN GT SERIES

Scuderia Villorba Corse is getting back on track in France for a prestigious double commitment during the weekend of June 1-2. The Italian team is back in action at Le Castellet and Le Mans with its “maximum deployment of forces in an increasingly eclectic operation which represents one of the strengths of Villorba Corse, involved in several national and international series also thanks to SVC The Motorsport Group”, says Raimondo Amadio, Team principal.

The Paul Miller Racing team heads to the second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s Sprint Cup this weekend as the series rolls into Motor City for the Detroit Grand Prix at Belle Isle.

CADILLAC RACING TEAMS TO DEFEND PERFECT RECORD IN DETROIT

The Belle Isle street circuit is located in the middle of the Detroit River and within view of General Motors headquarters. A GM powered race car has won every IMSA race since the series returned to the Motor City in 2007. Last year, Eric Curran and Felipe Nasr took the win in the No. 31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-V.R and were the first to celebrate by taking a dip in Scott Fountain. Nasr and new teammate Pipo Derani have a win a Sebring to their credit this year and currently lead the IMSA WeatherTech DPi points.

SIX BMW M6 GT3s AND COMPETITIVE DRIVERS WANT TO RECORD TOP RESULTS IN THE ‘GREEN HELL’
