SKY TEMPESTA RACING WINS GT WORLD CHALLENGE EUROPE PRO-AM CLASS AT MISANO

Two Ferraris took podium finishes in the Pro-Am class in the first of this weekend’s three races in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup at the Romagna circuit. The 488 GT3 Evo 2020 of Chris Froggatt and Eddie Cheever III set the pace in the race held at sunset while AF Corse’s twin car, driven by Andrea Bertolini and Louis Machiels, fought back to finish third.

BELGIAN AUDI CLUB WRT SWEEPS TO GT WORLD CHALLENGE EUROPE ONE-TWO FINISH IN OPENING MISANO CONTEST

Belgian Audi Club Team WRT captured a one-two finish in this evening’s season-opening GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Sprint Cup race at Misano after a late pass secured top spot for the #32 Audi R8 LMS of Dries Vanthoor and Charles Weerts.

NM Racing Team scored its first victory in the GT4 European Series at the Misano World Circuit this afternoon. Lluc Ibanez and Xavier Lloveras were the first to cross the line at the 4.226-kilometre Italian circuit after a dramatic race.

ARTA NSX-GT TAKES SUPER GT POLE POSITION AT FUJI

The qualifying for the Takanokono Hotel FUJI GT 300km RACE, Round 2 of the 2020 AUTOBACS SUPER GT series, was held at the Fuji Speedway in Shizuoka Prefecture on August 8 (Sat). In the GT500 class, the pole position was taken by Nojiri in the No. 8 ARTA NSX-GT (Tomoki Nojiri /Nirei Fukuzumi). In the GT300 class, it was Kotaka in the No. 6 ADVICS muta MC86 Ryohei Sakaguchi/Kazuto Kotaka) that took the class pole.

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe championship returns to action this weekend for the opening round of the 2020 season at Misano Adriatico in Italy, with two 50’ races scheduled on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

FLYING LIZARD MOTORSPORTS LEAD PIRELLI GT4 AMERICA POINTS HEADED INTO HOME RACE WEEK AT SONOMA

Flying Lizard Motorsports has little distance to travel this weekend for the next three rounds of the Pirelli GT4 America championship.
