The GT4 European Series is back in racing action at the Nürburgring next weekend when a 42-car grid will tackle the German venue’s 5.1km Grand Prix circuit.
The battle for the Endurance Cup will take centre stage this weekend (3-5 September) when Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS travels to the Nürburgring for a three-hour race on the German venue’s 5.1km GP-Strecke layout.
Wright Motorsports secured two victories this weekend at Road America, scoring wins in both SRO GT World Challenge America and SRO GT America with its pair of Porsche race cars. Points leader Charlie Luck celebrated his sixth win this season in the No. 45 Porsche 911 GT3 R on Saturday in GT America, then the pair of Fred Poordad and Jan Heylen followed suit the following day, driving the No. 20 Porsche 911 GT3 R to first in class, third overall.
Flying Lizard Porsche and TKO Motorsports Bentley made a splash at Road America in SRO’s GT America. Andy Wilzoch, driver of the No. 460 Porsche 911 GT3 R secured two class podiums and an overall win, and Memo Gidley, driver of the No. 101 TKO Motorsports with Flying Lizard Bentley Continental GT3 secured second place in class and overall on Saturday.

Porsche Visit Cayman Islands Sprint Challenge GB returned to Thruxton and its position as part of the TOCA package in support of the British Touring Car Championship for its penultimate weekend of 2021. In addition to provisionally resolving two championship category battles the weekend was notable for the addition of the most successful driver in Porsche Carrera Cup GB history, 1992 British Touring Car Champion Tim Harvey, as guest driver. Harvey made his return to Porsche one-make racing after a decade away, racing in the Pro category with Team Parker Racing .A dry qualifying session on Saturday afternoon resulted in Jack Bartholomew (Redline Racing) securing his third pole position of the season, championship rival Theo Edgerton (TCR) would join him on the front row of the grid for Round 9. Ian Humphris (Valluga) started his weekend by qualifying as the fastest Am in an impressive fourth place overall. Guest driver Tim Harvey (Team Parker Racing) made a single qualifying run which was good enough to put him on the fourth row of the grid.
Taylor Hagler and Dakota Dickerson gave Racers Edge Motorsports its first Pro Am victory in Fanatec World Challenge America powered by AWS with a visit to the overall podium on Saturday at Road America.
During nearly a two-month break in the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS Championship, K-PAX Racing showed no signs of easing back on the throttle. This weekend, the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup celebrates a milestone at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium: As support to the Belgian Grand Prix (27 to 29 August 2021), the international one-make cup founded in 1993 holds its 300th race. A 32-strong field of ca. 375 kW (510 PS) 992-generation 911 GT3 Cup cars is expected to contest round five of the 2021 season. When it premiered 28 years ago in Imola, Italy, the series 964 model 911 had an output of 202 kW (275 PS).
After a decade away, the most successful driver in Porsche Carrera Cup GB history, 1992 British Touring Car champion Tim Harvey, will make his return to Porsche one-make racing.
