Porsche Poised For GT Le Mans Success
For the first two days of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on July 7-9, the Porsche GT Team established itself as the team to beat in the GT Le Mans class.
PORSCHE ENTERS FULL INTERCONTINENTAL GT CHALLENGE SEASON
Porsche has decided to support Porsche teams during all four rounds of the 2017 Intercontinental GT Challenge. After the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, teams of the German sportscar manufacturer will also be competing in the Total 24 Hours of Spa, the Mazda Raceway California 8 Hours and the Sepang 12 Hours. One of its works drivers, Laurens Vanthoor, is the defending Intercontinental GT Challenge driver champion.

With a spark of momentum from their win, Heylen bridged a strong gap in his third place starting position and handed it off to Schein, who carried the No. 16 Porsche to the third place podium slot in Race Two. Heylen and Schein will head into Rounds 6 and 7 leading the championship points in the SprintX GT-Pro/Am category.
