We are very pleased to have had the pleasure of interviewing Bruno Carneiro, Japanese Formula 3 driver. Bruno and his team, Albirex Racing, have finished the 2017 Japanese FIA F3 season in 11th place overall. In 2016, Bruno won the Chinese FIA F4 championship. He is also the winner of multiple kart series.

Due to a rain front coming to eastern Japan Rd 6 qualifying and race of the 2017 Japanese F3 championship’s third event at Fuji Speedway took place on Saturday May 13 in wet conditions in contrast to a fine weather on Friday when a number of the teams scrubbed their wet tyres in practice sessions in preparation for the rain.

Both Bruno and the team learned a lot about the new car and there has been a huge step forward in lap times with a 1.2 seconds improvements in set up. After a good P8 in Qualifying, we ended with a P11 in race 1, a DNF in Race 2 and a P10 on Race 3.
