2 Seas Motorsport’s Kevin Tse and Maximillian Götz  have laid down the marker and claimed pole ahead of British GT at Brands Hatch.

Kevin Tse Gradually brought his car and tires up to temp and ended up quickest in the his session with a 1:23.971. Maximillian Götz then rounded off this performance by setting a 1:22.816 in his session to have a combined 2:46.787.

Götz took their two pole positions from earlier this season at the Oulton Park and Snetterton sprint race meetings, so this was their first together in the 2025 campaign.

The top seven cars were marginally covered under one second, as the #7 Blackthorn Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO of Giacomo Petrobelli and four-time champion Jonny Adam were second with a combined time of 2:47.003.

Barwell Motorsport locked out the second row with the #78 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 in third after Alex Martin and Squadra Corse’s Patrick Kujala. The sister #1 Lamborghini of reigning champion Rob Collard and his teammate Hugo Cook qualified in fourth position.

Optimum Motorsport’s #77 McLaren 720S GT3 EVO, driven by Morgan Tillbrook and Marvin Kirchhöfer, lines up fifth for tomorrow’s race.

2 Seas Motorsport’s championship-leading #42 Mercedes-AMG had a more challenging qualifying effort after Charles Dawson went wide on the grass on the exit of Sheene Curve, although he went second in his session behind Tse.

Kiern Jewiss went wide at Stirlings, also putting him on the grass, and so their combined time of 2:47.656 gave them sixth place.

Tom Wood and Andrew Howard put the #97 Beechdean Aston Martin in seventh, ahead of the #67 Orange Racing by JMH McLaren of Simon Orange and Marcus Clutton.

Paddock Motorsport’s #9 McLaren of team principal Martin Plowman and Mark Smith took ninth. Team Parker Racing rounded out the top ten with their #66 Porsche 911 GT3.R of Nick Jones and factory driver Sven Müller.

After going fastest in the free practice and pre-qualifying sessions, the #84 Mahiki Racing Ginetta G56 GT4 Evo of Jack Mitchell and Josh Miller earned pole position in GT4.

Mitchell and Miller set a combined lap time of 3:00.523 to go quickest in the eight-car GT4 field and took the #84’s third pole, after doing so at Spa-Francorchamps and Race 2 at Snetterton.

Unfortunately for the #69 Ginetta, they were the cause of a red flag disruption when Blake Angliss went into the gravel trap on the exit of Surtees. His teammate Luke Garlick qualified third in his session beforehand.

Harry George and Luca Hopkinson qualified in second position in the #17 Optimum Motorsport McLaren Artura GT4.

For the #71 Century Motorsport BMW M4 GT4 EVO duo of Charlie Robertson and Ravi Ramyead to remain in mathematical championship contention, they need to finish second in the race if the #90 Optimum McLaren wins tomorrow’s race.

Robertson/Ramyead qualified third, whilst championship leaders Jack Brown and Marc Warren are set to start on the same row in fourth.

Century’s #14 BMW (Branden Templeton/Chris Salkeld) took fifth, followed by the #88 Mahiki Ginetta (Ian Duggan/Joe Wheeler) in sixth.

Jon Currie and Phil Keen finished seventh in Team Parker’s #30 Mercedes-AMG GT4, as the #69 Mahiki Ginetta will start at the back of the field.
