The first round of the 28th Spring Trophy will get underway this coming weekend of February 26th at South Garda Karting. Maranello Kart will take part in the event with a strong drivers lineup in all categories.
After the recent Winter Cup, Maranello Kart is ready to get on track again in Lonato for the first round of the Spring Trophy, a classic early season race in which the Italian outfit has always been shining.
Maranello Kart is all set to field a good number of drivers in all the categories taking part in the first of the two rounds of the 28th Spring Trophy (the second race will be run on March 12th) this coming weekend.
Among the main protagonists of KZ2, Massimo Dante will get on track on Maranello-Tm. He already has three victories of the Spring Trophy under his belt, in 2011, 2012 and 2015 and is well determined to turn these into a “poker” of victories.
The French Nicolas Gonzales, who put in a good performance last month in Mexico, is now much awaited for his debut in KZ2. The Slovakian Martin Konopka will also be present in KZ2.
Maranello Kart’s squad for the new KZ3 Junior (category reserved to 15-24yrs old drivers) will include last year’s winner of 125 Club Marco Miastkowki, whileMichael Dalle Stelle will compete in KZ3 Under (from 25 to 39yrs) and Former Italian Prodriver Over 2015 Champion Andrea Tonoli will compete in KZ3 Over (over 40yrs).
Walter Hold’s Maranello Austria will line up Lukas Aberer in OK-Junior andLukas Zbul in 60 Mini, while Team Maranello KCL will field Kiano Blum andYannick Federer in 60 Mini.
Among privateers, Marco Pastacaldi, Luigi Del Vecchio and Marco Vanniniwill compete in KZ2 on Maranello Kart, Roberto Cesari alike in KZ3 Under,Fabio Danti, the Swiss Thur Patrrik, Ferruccio Alacqua, Cristian Griggio,Manuel Marcon in KZ3 Over, Maurizio Giberti and Giancarlo Cressoni in KZ4 and the Austrian William Hofer in 60 Mini.
The programme of the event schedules sporting verifications, free practice and tyres handing for Saturday February 25th, qualifying, Prefinals and Finals will follow on Sunday February 26th.
