Formed to fill a void and increase awareness of karting in the Colorado region, the MG Tires Colorado Sprint Championship (CSC) announces today an in-depth incentive program for the 2016 racing season. Fikse Wheels has stepped up to offer national race entry to class champions, with MAXSpeed offering special pricing on Rotax evo engine upgrade kits and Micro and Mini MAX engines.
“Plans for the 2016 season are really beginning to take shape,” explains Stacey Cook of Energy Kart USA and Grand Junction Motor Speedway. “Along with all the incentives announced today, I am proud to say that Energy Kart USA will also be a title sponsor, joining MG Tires. I will provide great trackside support at all events. The series final will be hosted by Grand Junction Motor Speedway with plenty of special events including a banquet dinner planned for Sunday night. With Fikse and MAXSpeed offering incentives to our racers, great tracks on the schedule and some amazing prizes, the CSC is going to be the place to race in 2016.”
Free entry to the 2016 Sofina Foods US Open Presented by Fikse Wheels series finale in Las Vegas, including race tires, fuel, oil and entry fee, will be awarded to class champions in Micro MAX, Mini MAX, Junior MAX, Senior MAX, Masters MAX as well as Shifter Senior and Shifter Masters through the Fikse Wheels Driver Development Program. Class champions must be an active Rotax MAX Challenge (RMC) member and CSC member to be eligible for the free entry award. The US Open series finale is the pinnacle event promoted by MAXSpeed Entertainment, and will take place November 5-6, 2016 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
MAXSpeed Group, the US distributor for Rotax engines and parts, has also stepped up and will offer one-time evo engine upgrade packages, excluding pipe, with special promotional pricing of $750. CSC members must commit to one round of the 2016 series and be CSC and RMC members to qualify. Only one upgrade kit will be available to each customer, who must provide their Rotax engine serial number.
Also looking to grow the sport of karting, MAXSpeed will also offer an additional incentive to those in the youngest classes, Micro and Mini MAX, with reduced pricing on complete engine packages for CSC members. Micro will be offered at $1995.00 and Mini at $2495.00. Additional details on both the evo upgrade pricing and reduced Micro and Mini engines are available through MAXSpeed’s network of dealers and authorized service centers.
These incentives join the previously announced awards, as class winners at all events will win MG Tires, with MG Tires also awarding an all-expense paid entry to the Granja Viana 500 in Brazil in December of 2016. The annual 500 mile endurance event often attracts big names from the world of motorsports, including the likes of Barrichello, Fittipaldi, and Kanaan. Teams of two to ten drivers compete for the ultimate win at this high-profile event.
