“Talented Senior pilot will see action in Superkarts! USA competition”

The Orlando based Orlando Kart Center racing ambassador Ryan Norberg will be making hisWest Coast debut this April attending his first Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour event, being held at the beautiful Phoenix Kart Racing circuit at the end of the month. Looking to build on his success from the Florida Winter Tour, the Floridian will pilot a Tony Kart chassis in the talent filled X30 Senior class.

Norberg states, “I’m excited to race out west and participate in a SKUSA event. The X30 Senior class has some of the best Senior drivers in the county and I look forward to the challenge along with the opportunity to bring home a championship this November.”

The 2016 season has started off well for the Orlando Kart Center driver earning consecutive podium finishes for all three Sofina Food’s ROK Cup Florida Winter Tour events.

Norberg continued, “I love attending any MAXSpeed Entertainment promoted event but winning at the Florida Winter Tour is always very satisfying.”

In addition to the Florida Winter Tour success, the senior driver also finished with a perfect weekend while competing at the first round of the Florida regional ROK Cup series held at the challenging Palm Beach Karting Circuit. His plans are to attend all of the very popular ROK Cup USA series events in hopes of earning his third ticket and travel with Team USA to the ROK Cup International Final held in Lonato, Italy.

Norberg continues, “In order to win at top level open wheel kart racing you need a good team supporting you. I really want to thank Brandon Jenkins with Allison Racing Engines who has really proven to me that he can supply quality engine support. I’m also very happy to be teamed up with my long time driving coach Gary Willis and Team Felon Racing for trackside support and lastly Andre Martins (owner, Orlando Kart Center) who reminded just yesterday how proud he was of our 2016 success so far and the good will promoting his amazing karting facility.”

Norberg concludes, “Lastly I want to personally invite all the Micro, Mini and Junior Drivers to sign up for the annual Epcot Challenge to be held July 14-17 right here in Orlando. Our facility is in great shape, great indoor restaurant, upgraded timing with the ability to see all driver’s split times. It is shaping up to be a great weekend.  I understand that many of the top teams and drivers have already committed so I would recommend you sign up today and reserve your spot. Also don’t forget prior to the racing Andre is treating all drivers, mechanics, and a guests to a Saturday brunch at one of the world-famous Epcot Center restaurants located right on the Disney World property.  And best of all, this entire day is included with your race registration. I can tell you this is one event you won’t want to miss. Both Andre and I look forward to seeing you there.”

Ryan Norberg also offers driving coaching at the Orlando Kart Center karting circuit.  For more information on Ryan Norberg, coaching reservations, the Epcot Challenge or the Orlando Kart Center please contact:  andre@orlandokartcenter.com or ryannorbergracing@gmail.com
