A total of 134 drivers out of the entered 141 made it to the track in the three
categories KZ2, KF Junior and 60 Mini at the 44th edition of the Trofeo delle
Industrie. A lot of good duels already enlivened Friday’s free practice, with
Tommaso Mosca shining in KZ2.
The 44th edition of the Trofeo delle Industrie, the most ancient karting race that is still
continuously been held and organized since 1971 by Parma Karting, started on a high at the
South Garda Karting of Lonato.
Out of the 141 drivers entered in the event that is part of the CIK-FIA calendar, 134 made it actively
to the track for this 44th Trofeo delle Industrie, with a lot of strong names in the three categories
KZ2, KF Junior and 60 Mini.
The first day of KZ2 free practice saw a great battle among the 62 drivers on track, as the young
emerging driver Tommaso Mosca, on Maranello-Tm, has been the quickest so far in 41.181s.
A good challenge among the top racers of this event has already kicked off. The quickest in the
other practice sessions have been Andrea Dalè (CRG-Tm) in two occasions, as did the Italian
reigning champion Riccardo Longhi (CRG-Tm), then Giacomo Pollini (CRG-Tm), Alessandro
Pelizzari (CKR-Modena) and Davide Forè (CRG-Tm). A good performance has been put in by
Simo Puhakka (CRG-Maxter), Nicola Gnudi (VRK-Tm), Cristopher Zani (DR-Modena),
Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart-Vortex), Massimo Dante (Maranello-Tm), Enrico Bernardotto
(Maranello-Modena) and Fabian Federer (CRG-Maxter). A good number of title contenders
including top names are therefore all set to challenge each other.
In KF Junior, category that sees 35 drivers at the start, the quickest has been the Swede of team
Ward Racing Isac Blomqvist (Tony Kart-Vortex) in 43.260s, who also posted the best time in
other two sessions. The quickest time in the other three sessions was set by the Finn Konsta
Lappalainen (Tony Kart-Vortex), Alessandro Giardelli (Tony Kart-Vortex) and by the Russian of
team Komarov Bogdan Fetisov (Tony Kart-Tm).
In 60 Mini, that had 37 drivers on track, Francesco Crescente (Tony Kart-Tm) has been the
quickest absolute in 49.627s, and he posted the quickest time in two sessions, but several other
drivers were only a few thousands short of him as Mattia Michelotto (Energy-Parilla), who was the
quickest in three sessions, Federico Cecchi (Tony Kart-Tm), the Dane Lucas Sommerlund and
Francesco Raffaele Pizzi both on Energy-Parilla. Leonardo Marseglia (Evokart-Tm) and Luigi
Coluccio (Tony Kart-Vortex) have also confirmed their speed, as did Alex Kattoulas (CRG-Tm),
Leonardo Caglioni (Evokart-Tm), Mattia Muller (Tony Kart-Tm), Victor Majgaard (CRG-Tm) and
Mathias Torreggiani (CRG-Tm).

Saturday 24 October: Free practice from 8:30hrs; Qualifying from 10:25hrs; Heats from 13:00hrs.
Sunday 25 October: Second chance races from 11:00hrs; Pre-Finals from 13:00hrs; Finals from
14:15hrs; Prize ceremony at 17:30hrs.
