Already 170 entrants to the competition which is going to be hosted by the Adria Karting Raceway from 4th to 7th february. The new OK engine at their debut.
The WSK Champions Cup is approaching and the number of entrants is growing.
Entries opened on 1st January and, since then, the WSK Champions Cup has gathered 170 entrants. The event is in two weeks’ time and it will be the 2016 season-opener: the growing number of participants proves that there are great expectations for the oncoming WSK Promotion’s events. The venue, the Adria Karting Raceway, is ready to host this important appointment, which will see the debut of the brand new categories OK and OK Junior. Besides the new engines introduced by CIK-FIA, the Italian facility will also host the usual KZ2 and 60 Mini categories: they, too, can boast a great number of participants.
Great expectations for the OK engines and OK Junior categories.
The 170 – so far – entrants are already a huge success for the 2016 WSK Series, and the same can be said about the number of entrants to the new categories OK and OK Junior. Already 90 drivers have decided to race behind the wheel of these karts, which will make their debut in a real competition on the Italian circuit. Even more important, there won’t be any second chance in the event, because the WSK Champions Cup is a one-round competition: a further and thrilling ingredient for this already tasty recipe.
Pre-season tests on schedule at the Adria Karting Raceway.
The Adria Karting Raceway, for the next two weekends, will host two pre-season sessions of tests for all the categories taking part in the 2016 events, including the KZ. The first session is scheduled from 23rd to 24th January, the second from 30th to 31st January.
