KARTING COMMUNITY UNITED LO206 CHALLENGE AT FINAL ROUND OF THE CHALLENGE OF THE AMERICAS AT SIMRACEWAY
“Race Team Managers, Tuners and Parents with all the money raised going to the KCU”
With the popular winter karting programs coming to a close, Karting Community United (KCU) has teamed up with Simraceway and the Challenge of the Americas program to put on one last fundraiser to close out the series. Taking place after the day’s action on Saturday, Karting Community United will host a fundraising event that will see parents, tuners, team mangers and more compete with all the money going to a great cause.
“We will be utilizing the Simraceway Performance Driving Center’s LO206 Ignite karts for this event and I am expecting a full field of participants,” explained Challenge of the Americas promoter Andy Seesemann. “The Karting Community United crew has done a tremendous job at raising funds throughout the 2016 season and I hope everyone that will be able to participate will sign up and do so for a fun and relaxing Saturday evening.”
With no drivers that are racing in the event allowed to compete, this opens the doors for any non-racer orwannabe racers to have a little fun. With entry fees of $40.00 and 50% of the entry going back to the Ignite Challenge Winner along with a year’s worth of bragging rights, the evening is sure to be a blast for all involved.
Karting Community United’s Jen Durrant continued, “Each driver will leave the pits and get a green-white-checkered qualifying format with the fastest time taking home 50% of the money raised and the remaining amount going to the Karting Community United fund.”
Be sure to get registered for the Karting Community United LO206 Challenge when you arrive atSimraceway. With limited spots available, organizers are hoping to have a full field of drivers and raise as much money as possible for a great cause.
