NIELSEN DETERMINED TO CONTINUE PATTERN OF SUCCESS AT THE 12 HOURS OF SEBRING

The Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring is one of Christina Nielsen’s most prolific IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races of the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup season. From March 14 to 17, she’ll race the 66th annual endurance event with a Wright Motorsports-prepared Porsche. The Ohio-based team will support Nielsen and co-drivers Patrick Long, Mathieu Jaminet and Robert Renauer in the No. 58 911 GT3 R at this famously treacherous track for the race in Sebring, Florida. This is the second round of a dozen events in the IMSA series in which Nielsen is defending her two-time GTD-class championship.

PARKER CHASE KICKS OFF 2018 SEASON WITH PODIUM AND HARD CHARGER AWARD IN ST. PETE

Taking on the Pirelli World Challenge Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Texan Parker Chase entered his first official event as a TruSpeed AutoSport driver. Piloting the #19 Vertical Bridge / New Braunfels Visitors and Convention Bureau / ProBalance Protein Water Audi R8 LMS, the 17-year-old Chase showed speed and persistence in the GTA division as he was one of the drivers to beat throughout the weekend.

FOLLOWING VICTORY IN MEXICO: AUDI TRAVELS TO FORMULA E IN URUGUAY

Following a break last season, Formula E is returning to Uruguay this weekend. The circuit in Punta del Este is set directly along the beach promenade and exudes a special flair. Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler has fond memories of the South American place. On both previous Formula E visits, Lucas di Grassi celebrated a podium finish and his teammate, Daniel Abt, has scored points in Uruguay as well.

FORD CHIP GANASSI RACING HUNGRY FOR WIN AT 12 HOURS OF SEBRING

While it was the No. 66 Ford GT team of Joey Hand, Dirk Müller and Sébastien Bourdais who went down in history for winning the GTE Pro title at the Le Mans 24 Hours, it was the No. 67 team who drove to a commanding first-ever win for the new Ford GT at Laguna Seca, then made it three IMSA wins in a row at Watkins Glen and Mosport. It seemed as if Westbrook, Briscoe and strategy chief Brad Goldberg had the golden playbook.
