Mercedes-AMG is celebrating its first TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa victory since 2013 after AMG Team Akkodis ASP won an enthralling 74th edition of the Belgian endurance classic, which was staged in front of a packed house of spectators and in perfect weather conditions from start to finish. 

After a difficult last few rounds, Erwan Bastard and Roee Meyuhas showed they aren’t out of the fight for the GT4 European Series title just yet, guiding their Saintéloc Racing Audi to victory in a thrilling second race at Spa-Francorchamps.

The new Porsche 911 GT3 R will be unveiled to the public at this year’s 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. From the 2023 season, Porsche customer teams can campaign the new racing vehicle in worldwide motorsport events that adhere to the GT3 regulations. The vehicle is based on the latest 992-generation 911. Compared to its predecessor, the new 911 GT3 R features a larger engine producing up to 416 kW (565 PS), a more constant aerodynamic performance and an optimised vehicle balance.

Code Racing Developments’ Antoine Leclerc and Loïc Villiger scored their first outright race win of the season after coming out on top of a nail-biting first GT4 European Series race at Spa-Francorchamps today.

A total of 13 Porsche 911 GT3 R are entered for this year’s 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps on 30/31 July. Five of the over 368 kW (500 PS) 911 contest the pro-category and have excellent chances to score overall victory at the world’s largest GT3 endurance classic. The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 resumes its quest for overall glory in the TotalEnergies Spa 24 Hours this weekend, as three of Aston Martin Racing’s key partner teams, Beechdean AMR, The Heart of Racing and TF Sport converge on the most fiercely contested GT endurance race of them all.

BMW M Motorsport returns to the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the 24 Hours of Le Mans (FRA) in 2024. One year after its debut season in the North American IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in 2023, the new BMW M Hybrid V8 will also take on the top-class opposition in the Hypercars category in the official FIA World Endurance Championship. On Monday, 25th July, the first BMW M Motorsport prototype since the legendary BMW V12 LMR completed its first laps at the roll-out in Varano de Melegari (ITA).

True Racing by Reiter Engineering sealed a dream weekend in the fourth round of the Fanatec GT2 European Series, with Filip Sladecka and Stefan Rosina doubling up on outright wins at Spa-Francorchamps.

K-PAX Racing has long been the team to beat for many GT3 teams in the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS paddock – 11 straight races from the team’s September sweep at Watkins Glen International last season. The win streak put a target on the team, and while it has enjoyed the taste of champagne and victory at the top of the podium each event since that initial sweep, K-PAX Racing was faced with a more challenging stop at “The Glen” for Rounds 7 & 8 of the 2022 championship.

Prince Jefri Ibrahim and Nick Foster consolidated their place at the top of Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS’s overall standings by battling to their second win of the season in Race 2 at Fuji today.

Takeshi Kimura and Kei Cozzolino came home comfortable winners in the first of this weekend’s two Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS races at Fuji after CarGuy Racing’s Ferrari started on pole, slipped to fourth and worked its way back into contention post pitstops.

United Autosports and Phil Hanson will contest the FIA World Endurance Championship together once more in 2023.

For the BMW M Motorsport teams and drivers, the next big highlight of the endurance season is just around the corner: the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (BEL) on 30th/31st July. ROWE Racing Team fields two BMW M4 GT3 in the Pro class, and will hope to challenge for the overall victory. The BMW Junior Team is making its Spa debut in the number 50 car. Walkenhorst Motorsport and ST Racing also line up with a total of three cars in the Cup classes, as the BMW M4 GT3 makes its first appearance in the biggest GT3 race in the world. BMW is the record winner of the 24h Spa-Francorchamps, with 24 victories to its name.

The GT4 European Series is gearing up for its biggest race weekend of the season, and in more ways than one, with a record 55-car entry expected for two races running in support of the world’s most prestigious GT3 event.

Lamborghini Squadra Corse has announced the first two drivers in the line-up for the LMDh (Le Mans Daytona h) program, which will debut in 2024 in the FIA World Endurance Championship (Hypercar class) and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (GTP class). The Factory Drivers Andrea Caldarelli and Mirko Bortolotti, both currently involved in the most important GT competitions with Lamborghini, have been confirmed for the new project, not only as drivers but also as test drivers, contributing to the development of the prototype.
