ARMSUP MOTORSPORTS WINS F2000 PRO SERIES
On track three of the four weeks in September, ArmsUp Motorsports completed the final round of the F2000 Championship Series this past weekend at the New Jersey Motorsports Park. Taking on the Thunderbolt Raceway layout, ArmsUp drivers James Roe and Trent Walko dominated the event taking home both victories and three of four possible podium results.
British GT’s Donington winners to be awarded DPRAC Wheatcroft Trophy
The trophy, first awarded in 2010 and named after the circuit’s late president, traditionally alternates between two and four-wheel series. Next weekend’s overall race winners thus follow previous recipients from the British Touring Car Championship and European Le Mans Series, as well as World and British Superbike Championships.

Ferrucci, who was starting 20th in the 25-car field, had to fight with a throttle to fuel system error right from the start. The issue caused excessive fuel use throughout the race and it also meant that the rookie had to use the clutch in all the slow corners of the track because the engine wouldn’t idle.

“We had to play the long game. It was a day where the tire degradation was really high and the stints were long. We pitted early when everybody freaked out with some apparent oil on the track, which I didn’t see. After that it was going to be long stints the rest of the way and the tires were struggling. We just did what we had to do. At the end of the day, it worked out and we finished seventh in the championship, which was the goal today. So I’m really happy with the result. Thanks to the SealMaster guys, thanks to all our sponsors and let’s all do it again next year.”
