The pair of Soul Red Crystal Mazda RT24-P prototypes finished second and third in the grueling Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta on Saturday night, securing their podium positions right as the checkered flag fell.
BMW M8 GTE COMPLETES INAUGURAL NORTH AMERICAN SEASON WITH THIRD AND FOURTH PLACE FINISHES AT PETIT LE MANS
BMW Team RLL closed the inaugural North American season of competition for the BMW M8 GTE with third and fourth place GTLM class finishes at the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Motul Petit Le Mans. John Edwards, Jesse Krohn and Chaz Mostert finished third in the No. 24 BMW M8 GTE, completing 419 laps of the 2.54-mile, 12-turn Road Atlanta circuit in the ten hour race after starting from the pole position. Bill Auberlen, Connor De Phillippi and Alexander Sims finished fourth in the No. 25 BMW M8 GTE, only 1.755 seconds behind their sister car after taking the green flag from the seventh spot. The race was won by the No. 911 Porsche 911 RSR.
WHELEN ENGINEERING RACING SECURES TWO CHAMPIONSHIPS IN PETIT LE MANS NAIL-BITER
Whelen Engineering Racing captured its second IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship title in three years Saturday night, finishing seventh with the No. 31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-V.R driven by Eric Curran, Felipe Nasr and Gabby Chaves in the 21st Motul Petit Le Mans.

MAX KOEBOLT WINS FIRST GT4 SPRINT CUP EUROPE RACE AT HOCKENHEIM
At the 4.574 kilometres long Hockenheimring, Max Koebolt scored his first race win of the GT4 Sprint Cup Europe weekend. In bright sunshine, the Dutchman held off a late-race charge by Belgium’s Gilles Magnus to win the first of two 40-minute races in his #8 MDM Motorsport BMW M4 GT4. Magnus finished in second position, ahead of Gabriele Piana.
ABSOLUTE RACING TAKES BLANCPAIN GT SERIES ASIA OVERALL PODIUM AND PRO-AM CLASS WIN AT NINGBO
Martin Rump and Cheng Congfu finished second in the penultimate race of the Blancpain GT Series Asia season in Ningbo, China. The Absolute Racing duo were impressive to secure their third podium of the season and move up to third in the Silver Cup. Teammates Adderly Fong and Andrew Kim secured their maiden Pro/Am victory of the season in round 11, crossing the line fourth overall from a starting position of 12th after a strong performance from both drivers.
