The stunning new McLaren 720S GT3 will make its CAMS Australian GT debut this season and is expected to immediately take the fight to the established teams, following on from the success of the mighty 650S GT3 which claimed multiple AGT victories and the 2016 title.

There is a new look to Nielsen Racing in 2019 as the team announce a two-car entry into the European Le Mans Series. The British-based team will field two LMP3 entries with Colin Noble and Tony Wells continuing their successful partnership, while James Littlejohn returns to the team and is joined by Nobuya Yamanaka in the sister entry.

Nobuya Yamanaka is delighted to confirm that he will compete in the European Le Mans Series this year with Nielsen Racing. This is the next step for the Japanese gentleman driver as he seeks to achieve his ambition in competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Run by BMW Team RLL, the #24 BMW M8 GTE that Zanardi shared with John Edwards (USA), Jesse Krohn (FIN) and Chaz Mostert (AUS), had been modified with a special hand-operated braking system by BMW M Motorsport. After several minor set-backs in the race, the quartet came home ninth in the GTLM class. Victory went to the sister car, the #25 BMW M8 GTE, with Connor De Phillippi (USA), Augusto Farfus (BRA), Philipp Eng (AUT) and Colton Herta (USA) at the wheel. PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports announced today that it will expand its operations throughout the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship by adding a new LMP2 ORECA 07 in order to double up its LMP2 team and also adding a new LMP3 entry into the IMSA Prototype Challenge category.

(KCMG) Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 cars showed race-winning potential during the team’s maiden Bathurst 12 Hour outing, setting the fastest lap and scoring valuable 2019 Intercontinental GT Challenge points after the #18 finished seventh at the Mount Panorama Circuit. A strong qualifying saw the #18 Nissan GT-R progress into the top-10 shootout and start from ninth on the grid. Oliver Jarvis immediately made up positions during the start under darkness, emerging in seventh by the time the sun rose at the end of the first hour.
