PAUL MILLER RACING RIDING WIN MOMENTUM INTO ROAD AMERICA

Winners of the last IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race in Lime Rock, Paul Miller Racing are looking to capitalize on the momentum of victory when the series rolls into the National Park of Speed—Road America. 

MEYER SHANK RACING TAKES CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD TO ROAD AMERICA

MSR is riding a wave of five-consecutive second-place finishes, and enters the IMSA Fastlane SportsCar Weekend at Road America with a 56-point lead atop the DPi championship standings. Oliver Jarvis and Tom Blomqvist began the campaign by winning the 60th Rolex 24 At Daytona, and are now focused on winning the championship with only two races remaining in 2022.

ERA MOTORSPORTS RETURNS TO ROAD AMERICA TO DEFEND 2021 WIN

This weekend Era Motorsport’s LMP2 sports car racing program returns to Road America, the site of the first win for drivers Dwight Merriman and Ryan Dalziel together as a sprint-race pairing in 2021. Facing even stronger competition this season, the race-winning duo will ardently fight to defend last year’s win in the IMSA Fastlane SportsCar Weekend on Sunday, August 7.

BMW M TEAM RLL READY TO RETURN TO GTD PRO PODIUM AT ROAD AMERICA

BMW M Team RLL heads to Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wis., looking to regain its winning ways at the track that has set the stage for many of the team’s victories in previous seasons.

MARO ENGEL IS BACK IN THE ADAC GT MASTERS

Great news ahead of the fourth event of the ADAC GT Masters season at the Nürburgring: Maro Engel (Monte Carlo) is returning to compete in the German GT Championship. The Mercedes-AMG Performance driver will be the new team-mate for Raffaele Marciello (27/I), driving the #48 “Mamba” for the Mann-Filter Team Landgraf. Engel will benefit from his extensive experience. The 36-year-old has already completed 50 races in the ADAC GT Masters, finishing the 2020 and 2021 seasons in third place.

WHELEN ENGINEERING RACING LOOKS FOR REPEAT WINNING PERFORMANCE AT ROAD AMERICA

Whelen Engineering drivers Pipo Derani (Brazil) and Olivier Pla (France) return to Road America for what the team hopes will be a repeat winning performance in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Fastlane SportCar Weekend Aug. 4-7. The team won this race last year from the pole position.  

WEATHERTECH RACING READY FOR HOME RACE AT ROAD AMERICA

WeatherTech Racing drivers Cooper MacNeil (Hinsdale, Ill) and Daniel Juncadella (Spain) are ready for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship IMSA Fastlane Sportscar Weekend to run at Road America, August 4-7.

K-PAX RACING 11th AT SPA

K-PAX Racing showed both its strength and willpower, as both were tested during the 74th edition of the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa. Withstanding all the challenges presented and on GT3 racing’s biggest stage worldwide, the team completed the full 24-hour duration to an 11th place finish.

ROWE RACING SO CLOSE TO PODIUM AFTER STRONG SPA DEBUT FOR THE BMW M4 GT3

Around two hours and just a bit of luck were all that was missing from an otherwise perfect debut for the BMW M4 GT3 at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (BEL). Tyre damage to both ROWE Racing cars prevented a deserved podium finish after a superb, faultless performance. Making their Spa debut, the BMW Junior Team with Dan Harper (GBR), Max Hesse (GER) and Neil Verhagen (USA) chalked up an outstanding fifth place overall. In the #98 car, Nick Catsburg (NED), Augusto Farfus (BRA) and Nick Yelloly (GBR) battled for the lead for virtually the entire race before tyre damage put paid to their chances around 120 minutes before the finish. The trio crossed the line in sixth place.

ONE-TWO FOR MERCEDES-AMG IN THE 24 HOURS OF SPA

Mercedes-AMG is celebrating its first TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa victory since 2013 after AMG Team Akkodis ASP won an enthralling 74th edition of the Belgian endurance classic, which was staged in front of a packed house of spectators and in perfect weather conditions from start to finish.

DEBUT FOR THE NEWEST GENERATION OF THE PORSCHE 911 GT3 R

The new Porsche 911 GT3 R will be unveiled to the public at this year’s 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. From the 2023 season, Porsche customer teams can campaign the new racing vehicle in worldwide motorsport events that adhere to the GT3 regulations. The vehicle is based on the latest 992-generation 911. Compared to its predecessor, the new 911 GT3 R features a larger engine producing up to 416 kW (565 PS), a more constant aerodynamic performance and an optimised vehicle balance.
