Cetilar Racing completed yesterday the 24 Hours of Le Mans qualifying, taking the 25th overall place over 62 cars and the 17th of the LMP2 category, as well as making a great job to improve the setup of the car looking forward the Saturday’s race.
Former Porsche GB Scholar and 2014 Carrera Cup GB champion Josh Webster (Team Parker Racing) topped Friday practice at Croft. Returning to the North Yorkshire circuit for the first time since 2016, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB was met with wet conditions for the morning session, and a tricky drying track in the afternoon. Mastering the slippery surface to rank alongside championship returnee Webster came 18-year-old Porsche GB 2018 / 2019 Junior Dan Harper (JTR) and George Gamble (Amigos Redline Racing).
The new Ferrari Challenge UK Series 2019 series heads to Snetterton on the 22 and 23 June 2019. Snetterton is the 2nd of 4 iconic UK circuits that will be visited by the new for 2019 racing series. As the second longest circuit in the UK, the track features a mixture of tough, technical challenges and high-speed sections, with the grid of 21 488 Challenge cars promising to replicate the thrilling action displayed at Brands Hatch.
Will Owen is back in France to compete in his third year of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with United Autosports. Owen will be looking to better his 3rd place result of 2018 with teammates Alex Brundle and Ryan Cullen.

At the first qualifying for the final round of the FIA World Endurance Championship WEC in Le Mans (France), the Porsche GT Team has left a strong impression. In the GTE-Pro class, all four Porsche 911 RSR claimed a spot in the top six. At the wheel of the ca. 510 hp 911, Nick Tandy achieved the second quickest lap time with 3:49.558 minutes in the two-hour qualifying session on the storied 13.626-kilometre racetrack. The British driver shares the No. 93 car with Patrick Pilet (France) and Earl Bamber (New Zealand).

The first free practice sessions of the Road to Le Mans 2019, the most eagerly awaited event of the Le Mans Cup, are now just a few hours away. Eight Ferraris will line up for the third round of the series out of a total of 49 cars, 17 of which will be competing in the GT3 class representing six different manufacturers.
Super GT and Super Formula star Nick Cassidy plus 2017 Le Mans winner Daniel Serra will join Ferrari’s full-season Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli entry, HubAuto Corsa, at the Total 24 Hours of Spa on July 25-28.
The season highlight for Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing is getting closer: from 20-23 June, the 47th running of the legendary 24-hour race will be taking place at the Nürburgring. The 160-car field includes seven Mercedes-AMG GT3s. Thus, Mercedes-AMG is one of the manufacturers with the largest representation in the SP9 class. Two cars of the Mercedes-AMG Team BLACK FALCON have already been able to secure their slots for top qualifying: the #2 entry with Adam Christodoulou (GBR), Maro Engel, Manuel Metzger and Dirk Müller (all GER) as well as the #3 with Maximilian Buhk, Hubert Haupt, Thomas Jäger and Luca Stolz (all GER). During the race weekend, the further cars (1x Mercedes-AMG Team BLACK FALCON, 1x Mercedes-AMG Team MANN-FILTER, 3x GetSpeed Performance) will be aiming at one of the coveted top qualifying slots during qualifying to obtain a good starting grid position for the race twice around the clock.
The Audi R8 LMS GT4 will make its debut in the Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia next weekend, with reigning Audi Sport R8 LMS GT4 Cup champion Anderson Tanoto of Indonesia and experienced Australian privateer Mark Williamson at the wheel. The pair joins four GT3 Audi Sport customer racing Asia entries contesting the overall, Silver and Pro/Am titles for round three of the championship at the iconic 5.807km Suzuka Circuit in Japan from 22-23 June.
RLR MSport is set to resume its on-track preparations for the 87th 24 Hours of Le Mans at Circuit de la Sarthe (15-16 June) with driving trio, Norman Nato, Arjun Maini and John Farano.
