Paul Miller Racing has staged a dramatic charge through the pack to cross the line seventh in the sweltering hot conditions in the latest round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at Lime Rock Park.

OREGON TEAM FACES UNEXPECTED CIRCUMSTANCES IN 4 HOURS OF BARCELONA

Oregon Team faced another tough weekend, despite an evident potential and a team/drivers/car package which – on paper – is a winning one. The 4 Hours of Barcelona, the third out of six rounds for the 2019 European Le Mans Series, gave little satisfaction to the Italian squad which placed its Norma M30 racecar 10th in the LMP3 class.

UNITED AUTOSPORTS CELEBRATES 300th RACE WITH AMAZING 154th PODIUM FINISH

United Autosports celebrated its 300th race in great style when Garett Grist/Tommy Erdos/Wayne Boyd recorded the Anglo-American team’s 154th podium finish in the team’s 10-year history in Spain last night. Competing in the third round of the European Le Mans Series, Grist/Erdos/Boyd scored a well-deserved LMP3 third place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the four-hour race run in the evening for the very first time in the championship’s history.

FERRARI TAKES THE TOP FOUR IN LMGTE AT THE 4 HOURS OF BARCELONA

Four Ferrari crews occupied the first four places in the LMGTE class at the close of the 4 Hours of Barcelona. A noteworthy final balance sheet for the third round of the European Le Mans Series, held today in Spain, which for the first time in its history, was played out under artificial light. The spoils, for the second time this season, went to the 488 GTE crew of Luzich Racing with Alessandro Pier Guidi, Fabien Lavergne and Nicklas Nielsen who, thanks to today’s result, become the new overall leaders.

One-one hundredth of a second. That is all that separated Mario Farnbacher from taking the Lime Rock victory for Meyer Shank Racing on Saturday. The second place finish during the Northeast Grand Prix now provisionally extends Meyer Shank Racing’s IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship lead to 30 points.

MOLLER HOLDS ON FOR FOURTH BLANCPAIN GT SPORTS CLUB VICTORY AT SPA

In the opening Blancpain GT Sports Club race at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Reno Racing’s Jens Reno Moller scored his fourth victory of the season to increase his title chances with a round to spare.

Corvette Racing sweat its way through the Northeast Grand Prix on Saturday to fifth- and sixth-place finish in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

BMW TEAM RLL FINISHES SEVENTH AND EIGHTH AT LIME ROCK PARK

BMW Team RLL finished seventh and eighth in today’s two-hour-and-forty-minute IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park, in Lakeville, Conn. Tom Blomqvist and Connor De Phillippi finished seventh in the No. 25 BMW M8 GTE after starting third. John Edwards and Jesse Krohn, driving the No. 24 M8 GTE, finished in eight place unable to improve on their qualifying position. Overall today’s result comes as a disappointment after the team had such a strong performance at the last race, starting from the front row and finishing second and fourth, at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

TeamTGM DEFENDS LIME ROCK TITLE WITH VICTORY

TeamTGM drivers Owen Trinkler and Hugh Plumb scored a breakthrough victory at Lime Rock Park on Saturday to defend their 2018 win on the 1.5-mile course.

LE MANS CUP VICTORY FOR KESSEL RACING IN BARCELONA

Second win of the season for the Ferrari courtesy of Sergio Pianezzola and Giacomo Piccini in the fourth round of the Le Mans Cup held today on the Barcelona circuit in Spain. The crew of Kessel Racing acquitted themselves perfectly in the race to finish ahead of the Porsche of Baccani-Pera and the 488 GT3 crew of Luzich Racing with Fabien Lavergne and Mikkel Mac.

STRAKKA RACING ANNOUNCES SPA 24 HOURS CAR 43 LINE-UP

Lexus and AIM VASSER SULLIVAN (AVS) head to Lime Rock Park to race in Saturday’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Northeast Grand Prix. The two-hour and 40-minute sprint race is the first of two GT-only races on the IMSA schedule this season.
