With Christmas approaching rapidly, BMW Junior Team can look back on an eventful first year of training. Dan Harper (GBR), Max Hesse (GER) and Neil Verhagen (USA) have overcome the challenges thrown up by the pandemic, which could not have been foreseen at the start of the year, have grown together as a team, and have achieved great sporting success. What started with a training camp with Formula Medicine in January reached its high point with class victory in the BMW M4 GT4 at the Nürburgring 24 Hours (GER). BMW Junior Team and its mentor Jochen Neerpasch are now looking forward to stepping up to the BMW M6 GT3 next season.

Team Cetilar Racing is set for a new challenge, making its debut in the 24 Hours of Daytona scheduled for the last week of January. The race of Florida – IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship 2021 season opener – will mark the last official appearance of the #47 Dallara LMP2 carfielded by the Roberto Lacorte’s squad, following the FIA WEC campaign ended last month with the 8 Hours of Bahrain and four consecutive 24 Hours of Le Mans participation.

ADAC GT MASTERS WITH STRONG FIELD AND EIGHT BRANDS 2021

The ADAC GT Masters will be embarking on its 15th season in 2021 with a field of more than 30 super sports cars from eight different brands. By mid-December, 20 teams had submitted their entries for the International German GT Championship, the ADAC GT Masters, and have thus secured places on the grid. The field will be even more diverse next year as Aston Martin and Honda return to the series. The ADAC GT Masters will get the new season under way in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben on the weekend of 14th/16th May 2021.

Lamborghini Squadra Corse has unveiled its roster of Factory Drivers for the 2021 season, which will see the return of long-time Lamborghini servant Mirko Bortolotti and the graduation of recently crowned British GT champion Sandy Mitchell into the ranks. Also stepping up is the Lamborghini Young Driver of the year Raul Guzman, who will become the development test driver of the Huracán GT3 Evo.
