Kevin Gilardoni and Leonardo Pulcini survived a post-race time penalty to claim their second consecutive victory of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe weekend at Paul Ricard and move into the lead of the Pro standings. The duo, at the wheel of the #11 Oregon Team Huracán Super Trofeo Evo, started second on the grid with Pulcini overtaking the pole Leipert Motorsport car of Noah Watt at Turn 2 and maintaining the advantage either side of the pit-stop window to take the spoils.

Circuit Paul Ricard played host to the third and fouth race of  2021 GT4 European Series today. More than 40 cars from nine different manufacturers competed in the two one-hour races on the famous circuit in the south of France.

Ollie Wilkinson delivered a stand-out performance in his debut Circuit Paul Ricard 1000km race, helping JOTA team-mates Rob Bell and Ben Barnicoat to bring home the top McLaren 720S GT3 of the 47-car field, 14th in the Pro class.

An action-packed final hour saw GPX Racing snatch victory in this year’s Circuit Paul Ricard 1000km to give Porsche its maiden Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup win at the French venue. 

Oregon Team’s Kevin Gilardoni and Leonardo Pulcini claimed their first Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe victory of the season, profiting from two penalties for on-the-road winners Jonathan Cecotto and Kevin Rossel (GSM Racing). Gilardoni and Pulcini started the race fourth on the grid but lost ground early on after contact at Turn 1 but stayed out of trouble and remained fast throughout to come out on top.

Porsche customer teams tackle the Nürburgring 24-hour race with a large contingent of 38 vehicles in ten different classes. The famed Eifel marathon has been contested since 1970 and is considered one of the world’s toughest motor racing challenges. No less than eight Porsche 911 GT3 R fielded by six squads take on the top SP9 class to fight for overall victory at the long-distance classic, which gets underway on 5 June at 3:30 pm (CEST). One lap of the racetrack consists of a 25.378-kilometre combination of the Nordschleife and Grand Prix circuit. The odds look good for a Porsche to clinch the 13th win at the Nürburgring. The customer team Frikadelli Racing has clearly underlined the huge potential of the 500+hp GT3 racer from Weissach with a one-two result at the qualification race. The squad from Barweiler, a village just a stone’s throw from the Nürburgring, campaigns two vehicles helmed by three works drivers from the Porsche squad as well as five other Nordschleife specialists.

From a BMW M Motorsport perspective, the 49th staging of the Nürburgring 24 Hours (GER) on 5th/6th June 2021 will be full of highlights, both on and off the track. After the victory for ROWE Racing last year, the focus from a sporting point of view is on the mission to defend the title. Four BMW M Motorsport teams line up in the “Green Hell” with seven BMW M6 GT3 and a host of top-class BMW works drivers. They include the BMW Junior Team, which will be making its 24-hour debut in the GT3 class. BMW M CEO Markus Flasch will experience the challenge posed by the Nordschleife for himself at the wheel of the BMW M2 CS Racing. In the run-up to the race, the focus is on the launch of the new BMW M4 GT3 and a very special lap of honour.

The Nürburgring 24 Hours from June 3 to 6 is one of the most important races of the year for Audi Sport customer racing: With a track length of 25 kilometers, a 24-hour race duration and more than 120 participants, it is the race of superlatives worldwide. Audi Sport has clinched five victories with the R8 LMS at the endurance classic since 2012. At the same time, the legendary Nordschleife is the venue for a demanding baptism of fire this time: The second generation of the Audi RS 3 LMS makes its race debut at the Nürburgring in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup.

United Autosports GT4 team are ready to defend their 15-point lead in the GT4 European Series, during round two at Paul Ricard on 28-30 May. 

Circuit Paul Ricard plays host to the GT4 European Series for the second round of the 2021 championship next weekend (28-30 May) when a highly competitive field will battle it out at the French venue. 

An ultra-competitive 47-car field will race into the setting sun next weekend (28-30 May) when Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS tackles the Circuit Paul Ricard 1000km. 

Mercedes-AMG Motorsport is heading into ADAC TOTAL 24h Race at the Nürburgring (3rd-6th June) well-prepared and with a strong line-up. The 49th running of the endurance racing classic will see eight Mercedes-AMG GT3s, four of them with extended works support, and three Mercedes-AMG GT4s from a total of seven Customer Racing Teams on the starting grid, which will feature 125 competitors in total. Following the promising final rehearsal during the qualification race at the beginning of the month, with four cars from Affalterbach among the best twelve, Mercedes-AMG now also wants to achieve top results in the upcoming season highlight at the Nordschleife and, if possible, secure the third overall win after 2013 and 2016.
