B-Quik Absolute Racing is pleased to announce the driver line up of the #26 Audi R8 LMS evo II for next month’s Sepang 12 Hours with Henk Kiks, Peter Kox and Christopher Haase linking up in a bid for victory.

Audi Sport customer racing is relying on a mix of experience and youth for its 2023 driver squad. In addition to established drivers, the brand also includes two former customer drivers in the driver squad, Simon Gachet and Max Hofer.

Anthony Bartone (Miami, Fla.) and Andy Pilgrim (Miami, Fla.) will drive a pair of Bartone Bros Racing with RealTime GT3 cars in the 2023 GT America Powered by AWS Championship kicking off with the St. Petersburg Grand Prix, March 3-5.

2023’s Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli campaign continues this weekend in South Africa where some of the world’s best sports car teams and drivers have assembled for the Kyalami 9 Hour (February 23-25).

After recently announcing a multi-car GT4 effort in SRO America’s GT America powered by AWS and Pirelli GT4 America race series, Flying Lizard Motorsports will also contest a full-season GT3 entry in the GT America series in 2023. Longtime Lizard driver Andy Wilzoch will return to the team after a one-year hiatus, racing the No. 46 Porsche 911 GT3 R (type 991.2). Adding to the energy of the entry will be the traditional red and silver livery so closely aligned with the California-based team’s championship-winning history.

The colour pink is coming to Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia Championship with a newly formed partnership between BWT Australia, Courtney Prince and Porsche Centre Melbourne Motorsport.

Following a thrilling championship-winning debut in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America in 2022, Flying Lizard Motorsports will return this year for its sophomore season in the series with an expanded four-car Huracán Super Trofeo Evo2 effort. Tom Tait will be back in the red and green No. 64 Emerald Center entry, and LB Cup Champion Slade Stewart will advance to the Pro/Am class with Andy Lee, racing the No. 14 pink unicorn Lamborghini. Longtime Lizards Chris Bellomo and Johannes van Overbeek will team up in a singular entry in the No. 68, and Paul Nemschoff and Marc Miller will round out the team’s lineup, racing together in the Pro/Am class.

Team Parker Racing is delighted to announce that talented young racer Joe Warhurst will join its line-up in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB for the 2023 season, with his eyes firmly on the championship title.

KC Motorgroup Ltd. (KCMG) is set to compete in the 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia campaign, with KCMG founder Paul Ip and Edoardo Liberati teaming up at the wheel of a Honda NSX GT3.

Porsche Motorsport North America is set to contest its most dynamic Porsche Carrera Cup North America season to date. The premier one-make race series in the United States and Canada will be renamed the Porsche Deluxe Carrera Cup North America while also expanding its stage in 2023. The Carrera Cup North America will join Formula 1® twice, NASCAR once and the IMSA/IndyCar doubleheader at Long Beach in the upcoming season. These marquee events come in addition to three of IMSA’s most popular rounds. Highlighting the calendar will be the championship’s appearance at the Porsche Rennsport Reunion VII in Monterey, California. Entering its third season, Porsche and the International Motorsports Association (IMSA) signed a continuing alliance with North America’s top road racing organizer to remain the official sanctioning partner for Carrera Cup North America on this continent. Eight event weekends will host 16, 40-minute rounds of the all-Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car championship starting at Sebring, Florida in March. All events will be streamed live to an international audience of Porsche and motorsport enthusiasts.

The new era of the DTM under the leadership of the ADAC is set to enter the 2023 season with four BMW M4 GT3s and the combined BMW M works driver power of six title wins in the starting field. Schubert Motorsport and BMW M works driver Sheldon van der Linde (RSA) will continue their strong partnership and defend their 2022 titles in the driver and team standings. The second seat at the team champions goes to René Rast (GER). The three-time DTM title holder is set to make his debut in the BMW M4 GT3 in the upcoming season after switching to BMW M Motorsport. As a new DTM team, Project 1 will be competing with two BMW M4 GT3s, with two-time DTM champion Marco Wittmann (GER) at the wheel of one of the cars. The second driver will be selected in close consultation between the team, BMW M Motorsport and the ADAC and will be announced at a later date.

BMW M Team WRT competed its first race in the 2023 Intercontinental GT Challenge, the Bathurst 12 Hour (AUS). The endurance classic also marked the first official outing of the team together with BMW M Motorsport. After twelve hours of racing, held in sunny summer weather, the #32

SunEnergy1 and Mercedes-AMG defended their LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 crown in epic fashion and made the perfect start to this year’s Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli campaign by beating Manthey EMA and GruppeM Racing to victory in Australia’s International Enduro.

As many as four Audi Sport customer teams were on the podium at the Bathurst 12 Hour 2023: After a strong recovery, the three Australians Chaz Mostert, Fraser Ross and Liam Talbot won the Pro-Am class in the Audi R8 LMS. Close behind, Audi Sport drivers Christopher Mies and Ricardo Feller with privateer driver Yasser Shahin for The Bend Motorsport Park finished second. Porsche New Zealand and Earl Bamber Motorsport have announced that Callum Hedge is confirmed to drive for Team Porsche New Zealand for another Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia season in 2023.

The longest and possibly the most challenging race on the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship concluded on Sunday afternoon, and new sports car racing team AO Racing took great pride in facing adversity to finish the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
