TeamTGM executed a near perfect weekend to earn the team its first career win with an outstanding run to victory at Lime Rock Park on Saturday. The triumph was the first win in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge competition for the Mercedes-AMG GT4.

CMR drivers Stéphane Tribaudini and Pierre-Alexandre Jean set the pace in today’s qualifying sessions at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. The two French drivers, driving the brand new Alpine A110 GT4, were fastest in their respective sessions. Racing One’s Markus Lungstrass and Bullitt Racing’s Andy Meyrick claimed the Pro-Am poles for this weekend’s races, with Muehlner Motorsport’s Moritz Kranz and CMR’s David Loger setting the fastest times in the Am qualifying sessions.

United Autosports achieved a double top-10 finish in the latest two-hour Michelin Le Mans Cup race at the Red Bull Ring in Austria today (21 Jul) – the team’s fourth top-nine result in consecutive MLMC events. Naj Husain/Colin Braun (#32) and Jim McGuire/Matt Bell (#22) placed eighth and ninth respectively with the #23 Ligier finishing an unrepresentative 15th in class after a spin at mid-distance.

WeatherTech Racing drivers Cooper MacNeil (Hinsdale, Ill.) and Gunnar Jeannette (Salt Lake City, Utah) will start the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park from fifth on the GTD grid this afternoon.

Paul Miller Racing will start in fourth place in front of a home crowd on Saturday afternoon for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park. Bryan Sellers set a qualifying lap time of 51.838 seconds on the 1.5 mile road course.

Yuke Taniguchi and Alex Imperatori gave Nissan and KCMG their maiden Blancpain GT Series Asia victories at Fuji this afternoon after fighting through from sixth on the grid. Nick Foster and Jono Lester’s HubAuto Corsa Ferrari was second after getting the better of pole-sitters Edoardo Liberati and Florian Strauss, who completed the podium aboard KCMG’s second GT-R NISMO GT3 despite serving a success penalty.

After his previous exploits in Buriram and now with an engine that had undergone a complete overhaul, both Tony and Unixx TR-Motorsport were in confident mood as they arrived early in the week at the Thai coastal town of Bang Saen.

Unixx TR-Motorsport’s young Danish prodigy Victor Jensen was competing for the second time at Bang Saen, in 2017 the young Viking was racing a Toyota Vios in the One Make Race Series held during the Bang Saen Festival of Speed.

Nissan’s new-for-2018 GT-R NISMO GT3 claimed its maiden Blancpain GT Series Asia pole positions at Fuji this morning thanks to Edoardo Liberati and Alexandre Imperatori. There was also Japanese success in the GT4 class where BMW Team Studie’s Sunako Jukuchou and Takayuki Kinoshita both topped their respective qualifying sessions.

TeamTGM had a nearly perfect start to the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge weekend at Lime Rock Park as the squad locked in a front row start in qualifying on Friday. Owen Trinkler posted a 55.167-seconds lap time during Friday’s qualifying session to score second on the grid as he posted the fastest time among the six Mercedes-AMG entries in the three-class field.

The Porsche Carrera Cup GB, the fastest single marque GT racing championship in the UK, enters the second half of an exciting and unpredictable 2018 season having seen six different winners from eight races. Following two eventful rounds at Oulton Park in Cheshire, the championship pendulum has now swung in favour of Tio Ellinas (Slidesports Engineering) and the second half of 2018 looks set for a title showdown between the former GP2 racer and Dino Zamparelli (Redline Racing).

The preparations are almost complete for well over 200 drivers and a support staff the size of a small army. The 70th edition Total 24 Hours of Spa is just around the corner.
