Superbike Doubleheader Weekend Underway At CTMP
In Friday’s action, Clarksburg, Ontario’s Ben Young scored the pole for Saturday’s featured Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship Race 1. Riding the No. 86 BMW S1000RR, Young posted the fastest time in qualifying with a 1:20.523. Starting alongside Young on Saturday will be 12-time series Champion Jordan Szoke. Szoke, from Lynden, Ont., rode his No. 1 BMW S1000RR to a time of 1:20.991. Szoke comes into the weekend looking to secure his 13th, and fourth straight, championship.
Action Sprint Tour Makes Second Trip to Humberstone This Sunday
After a 40-day layoff in June and July, the Series is now in the middle of four races in as many weeks. The Action Sprint Tour powered by RaceRivalz.com is coming off an exciting event last Friday night at Ohsweken Speedway as Jacob Dykstra bested a field of 30 entrants. This Sunday’s stop marks the third race of the stretch. Following Humberstone, the tour will head to its most eastern point when it makes its inaugural appearance at Brighton Speedway on Saturday, August 18.
