Nissan has made its debut in the ABB FIA Formula E championship with former series champion Sebastien Buemi tasked with shaking down both cars today at Circuit Ricardo Tormo.

Lexus will partner with AIM VASSER SULLIVAN to campaign two Lexus RC F GT3 race cars in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for the 2019 season.

Brazilian driver Christian Hahn will make his International GT Open debut next weekend at the wheel of a Drivex-entered Mercedes AMG GT3. Alexander Sims claimed a fourth-place finish in the GTLM class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship at the final round of the season on 14 October 2018. The Warwickshire-based driver and his BMW Team RLL team-mates guided the No. 25 BMW M8 GTE around the Road Atlanta track in Georgia, USA, for the ten-hour Motul Petit Le Mans endurance event, completing 419 laps of the 2.54-mile, 12-turn circuit.

Lexus and 3GT Racing competed in the Motul Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta on Saturday. The 10-hour endurance event closed out the 2018 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship 11-race season for the Lexus RC F GT3.

Racing Point Force India reserve and test driver, Nicholas Latifi, will see plenty of free practice action in the final rounds of the 2018 championship with the young Canadian taking part in three further FP1 sessions before the end of the season.

The fourth meeting of the FIA WEC Super Season started on Friday, October 12th with the first two free practices. Both sessions were disrupted by red flags because of track problems, making the preparation of the cars more complicated than expected. Following the third and final free practice, a technical problem was detected on the R-13 N.3 and required the intervention of the entire Team to change both the engine block and the gearbox. The teams worked for nearly three hours to put the car back on track for the qualifying session and managed to achieve the fourth overall time.

Weiron Tan is tearing up the history books almost as quickly as he is tearing around the racetrack in the FIA World Endurance Championship this year, and he continued that trend last weekend (12-14 October), playing a key role in the first-ever victory for an all-Malaysian crew in an international FIA-sanctioned event with a peerless performance at Fuji Speedway.
