The race, held at over 3,000 metres above sea-level on the mountain-top circuit, marked the fourth stop of the 2018 Super Taikyu season, with the #82 Audi R8 LMS GT3 of Alex Au, Audi Sport customer racing Asia driver pool member Shaun Thong and three-time Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup champion Alex Yoong taking third overall for their second series podium of the year.
