WILZOCH FLIES THE LIZARD PORSCHE TO TWO GT AMERICA PODIUMS AT WATKINS GLEN

Flying Lizard Motorsports returned to the podium at Watkins Glen International once again this weekend, following a standout performance from driver Andy Wilzoch in the No. 460 Porsche 911 GT3 R in GT America powered by AWS. Wilzoch, who has recently returned to the series to finish out the season, earned two podium finishes after two exciting races in Upstate New York.

Consistency is the name of the game for Wright Motorsports. The John Wright-led team celebrated another rewarding sports car racing weekend in SRO America, earning two pole positions and three podiums across its two Porsche racing efforts at Watkins Glen International. Both Porsche 911 GT3 R race cars had strong performances in each of the races, producing another points-hauling weekend to maintain the championship lead Fred Poordad, Jan Heylen, and Charlie Luck have accumulated throughout the season. 

COOL RACING TAKES EUROPEAN LE MANS SERIES LMP2 PRO-AM VICTORY AT SPA

The #37 Oreca 07 crew of Alexandre Coigny, Nicolas Lapierre and Charles Milesi took a dominant victory in the LMP2 Pro-Am class at the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, after Milesi took the overall pole position on his debut for COOL Racing. The result moves the team up to second in the Pro-Am standings.

LMP3 PODIUM AND LMP2 CHASSIS REBUILD FOR UNITED AUTOSPORTS AT SPA FRANCORCHAMPS

United Autosports have had a mixed weekend at Spa Francorchamps this weekend for the penultimate round of the 2021 European Le Mans Series, which included a podium finish for their LMP3 team and a full chassis rebuild overnight for their LMP2 team.

MERCEDES-AMG MOTORSPORT SECURES DTM RACE WIN AND COLLECTS VALUABLE POINTS IN THE BATTLE FOR THE TITLE

In the sixth event of the 2021 DTM season, Mercedes-AMG Team WINWARD secured the third win for Mercedes-AMG this year. Driving the car with starting number 22, Lucas Auer (AUT) achieved a commanding lights-to-flag victory at TT-Circuit Assen on Sunday. In the action-packed first race on Saturday, Mercedes-AMG Team HRT’s Maximilian Götz (GER) scored valuable championship points by finishing fourth. In the manufacturers’ standings, Mercedes-AMG extended its lead and is in front with a comfortable points’ margin.

Having moved to the top of the DTM standings after Race-1, Liam Lawson extended his championship lead with second place in Race-2 at Assen. A quick Alex Albon finished fifth.
