HOME RACE FOR GT3 JAGUAR OF EMIL FREY JAGUAR RACING AT SILVERSTONE

Emil Frey Jaguar Racing is highly motivated following the great start to the season by winning the Silver Cup and achieving fifth overall in Monza and is now taking the momentum to the second race of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup at Silverstone. WHELEN ENGINEERING RACING FINISHES EIGHTH AT MID-OHIO

The No. 31 Whelen Engineering Racing DPi-V.R finished the Mid-Ohio Grand Prix eighth on Sunday as Eric Curran and Felipe Nasr teamed for the fourth round of the 2018 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The race marked the return of IMSA to the technical track set in rural Ohio with a long history of sports car racing through the decades.

MUSTANG SAMPLING RACING FOURTH AT MID-OHIO

Looking to make a successful defense of the team’s 2013 Mid-Ohio race victory, the No. 5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac DPi-V.R finished fourth with drivers Filipe Albuquerque (PRT) and João Barbosa (PRT) coming home just one spot shy of the podium despite excellent teamwork all weekend long.

Super GT Championship racer Sean Walkinshaw produced a sensational performance during round two of the 2018 season at Fuji Speedway in Japan on Friday, 4th May, to secure his second career GT300 victory with team-mate Shinichi Takagi.

SECOND IMSA WIN OF THE SEASON FOR THE PORSCHE 911 RSR

Clinching the second win of the season at Mid-Ohio, Porsche grabbed the lead of the IMSA SportsCar Championship. In a nail-biting finale, Laurens Vanthoor (Belgium) and Earl Bamber (New Zealand) snatched victory with the 510 hp Porsche 911 RSR on Sunday at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and celebrated their first win in the USA as teammates at the most gripping race of the season by now.

BMW TEAM RLL FINISHES 2nd AND 7th AT MID-OHIO

The No. 25 BMW M8 GTE of Connor De Phillippi and Alexander Sims raced to a well-deserved second place finish in today’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Acura Sports Car Challenge at Mid-Ohio, taking the checkered flag 1.673 seconds behind the race winning No. 912 Porsche. The result was the team’s second runner-up finish of the season and the 70th podium finish since 2009. After starting from the pole, John Edwards and Jesse Krohn had an unfortunate race to finish seventh in the No. 24 M8 GTE.

STRONG STRATEGY, DRIVING PUT FORD CHIP GANASSI RACING IN PODIUM CONTENTION AT MID-OHIO

Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia earned a podium finish Sunday in Corvette Racing’s return to Mid-Ohio Sports Car in the Acura Sports Car Challenge at Mid-Ohio. The duo piloted their No. 3 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Chevrolet Corvette C7.R to a third-place finish in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s GT Le Mans (GTLM) class.
