After winning on Saturday, the Dutchman repeated the feat at round 16 on the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg. “What a great way to end the season! The Porsche Carrera Cup is very close, so to be honest I didn’t expect two such clear wins. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to claim this year’s title but I’m still proud of our performance,” said ten Voorde. Second place went to Bastian Buus (Denmark/Allied-Racing) ahead of Dylan Pereira (Luxembourg/IronForce Racing by Phoenix). At the final round, the titles in the ProAm and Rookie classes were also decided: Carlos Rivas (Luxembourg/Black Falcon) takes home the 2022 ProAm championship title, with Lorcan Hanafin (United Kingdom/Fach Auto Tech) crowned the new rookie champion. A total of 32 drivers tackled the final round of the season run as part of the ADAC GT Master support programme.

Drivers and teams can look forward to a spectacular start to the 33rd season with a spectacular race weekend as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) at the famous Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Moreover, Italy’s Imola racetrack hosts the Carrera Cup alongside the DTM.
