Subaru Rally Team Canada (SRTC) closed out the 2017 Canadian Rally Championship (CRC) season on a high note, claiming victory at the Big White Winter Rally in British Columbia.
The victory is Kristoffersson’s third event win in a row – and fourth of the season – and has seen the Swede extend his lead at the top of the driver standings by 35 points. It is also the first time in World RX history that a driver has finished on the podium in seven consecutive events.
Hungary’s “CsuCsu” will make his first motorsport start outside Europe this weekend at Trois-Riveres, round eighth of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in Canada.
Not to be deterred in the hunt for that crown, Ottawa, Ontario’s Zacharie Robichon and his Mark Motors Racing team are doing everything they can in the No. 98 car to stay close to Hargrove in the championship. Today marked Robichon’s fourth consecutive second-place finish in four rounds of competition, keeping him in sight of Hargrove in championship points.
