The Swiss team aims to hit the ground running with no fewer than three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO when it makes its debut in the series. The high-quality driver line-up is spearheaded by Lamborghini works drivers Albert Costa (31/E) and Franck Perera (37/F). Former Formula 1 driver Jack Aitken (26, UK) and some talented youngsters complete the squad of drivers at Emil Frey Racing, which receives works support from Lamborghini. Two of the three cars will bear the start numbers 19 and 63, representing the year in which Lamborghini was founded. The new ADAC GT Masters season gets underway from 22nd to 24th April at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.

In rounds seven and eight of the 2021 ADAC GT Masters hosted by the Lausitzring, all three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVOs fielded by the Austrian outfit finished in the points. Lamborghini factory drivers Mirko Bortolotti and Albert Costa Balboa produced the standout result of the weekend with a P3 on Saturday, which puts them third in the drivers’ championship and handily placed for a late title push. In the team standings, the situation is even tighter, with GRT Grasser Racing Team in second place, only seven points behind the International German GT Championship leaders.
