Colorado's Chris Eggleston was victorious in Saturday night's Chilly Willy 150 from Tucson Speedway, as he passed and held off Preston Pelitier for the win.
After a long afternoon and evening of practices, qualifying, twin races and cautions, 22 drivers left Tucson Speedway Friday night knowing they'll get the chance to become Chilly Willy 150 winners on Saturday.
The .375-mile Arizona oval will be host to one of the first Super Late Model events as part of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series in 2018. The Chilly Willy 150 will be the fifth annual event at the Tucson bullring, with some of the top talent from the West Coast set to battle for the trophy and $10,000 first-place prize money.
Vince Quenneville captured his second straight NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Division I track championship on the asphalt at Devil's Bowl Speedway in Vermont.

In 2017, Lanpher added two more championships to his already stout résumé, winning both the Beech Ridge Motor Speedway Division I title and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Maine championship.

Despite missing out on the track championship at Sunset Speedway in Ontario, Eric Yorke performed well enough to capture the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Division III national championship.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Jake Crum will lead the field to the green flag in Saturday’s ValleyStar Credit Union 300 after inheriting the pole following post-qualifying technical inspection.
The times for Jeff Oakley and Deac McCaskill, who qualified first and second respectively, were disallowed following inspection. Race director Lynn Carroll said Oakley was disqualified for having a spacer plate under the carburetor while McCaskill had an issue with the squirters on his carburetor.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Jeff Oakley upset Late Model Stock Car racing’s elite competition in qualifying for the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway on Friday night.
Oakley, who races predominantly at Dominion Raceway in Thornburg, Virginia, qualified with a 20.382 second lap, scoring the pole. Oakley will lead the field to the green flag on Saturday night along with four-time Southern National Motorsports Park track champion Deac McCaskill, who locked himself into the race with his second-place qualifying effort.

Originally a quarter-mile dirt track when it first opened for racing in 1957, the track is now a four-tenths-mile paved oval that plays host to NASCAR sanctioned weekly racing from late March through the middle of September.
VanDyke, the reigning NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Tennessee champion, has scored 20 victories this season across three race tracks in the Southeast. At two of those tracks - Kingsport Speedway in Tennessee and Lonesome Pine Raceway in Virginia - he is also the point leader in the late model stock car division.
