OREGON TEAM COMPLETES LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO EUROPE DOUBLE VICTORY AT PAUL RICARD

Kevin Gilardoni and Leonardo Pulcini survived a post-race time penalty to claim their second consecutive victory of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe weekend at Paul Ricard and move into the lead of the Pro standings. The duo, at the wheel of the #11 Oregon Team Huracán Super Trofeo Evo, started second on the grid with Pulcini overtaking the pole Leipert Motorsport car of Noah Watt at Turn 2 and maintaining the advantage either side of the pit-stop window to take the spoils.

Oregon Team’s Kevin Gilardoni and Leonardo Pulcini claimed their first Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe victory of the season, profiting from two penalties for on-the-road winners Jonathan Cecotto and Kevin Rossel (GSM Racing). Gilardoni and Pulcini started the race fourth on the grid but lost ground early on after contact at Turn 1 but stayed out of trouble and remained fast throughout to come out on top.

LAMBORGHINI KICKS OFF INTERNATIONAL GT OPEN SEASON WITH VICTORY AND POINTS LEAD

Lamborghini recorded a sensational one-two finish on the opening weekend of the International GT Open season at the Circuit Paul Ricard in the south of France, with Michele Beretta and Frederik Schandorff leading home VS Racing team-mates Yuki Nemoto and Baptiste Moulin in Race 2. Schandorff and Beretta had started the second 60-minute race of the weekend from fifth on the grid but produced a superb second-stint charge to take the win by 4.633s at the flag. Moulin took over from Nemoto at the driver-change pit-stop and stole second place at the final corner.

STONEMAN CROWNED LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO EUROPE CHAMPION AT PAUL RICARD

Leipert Motorsport’s Sebastian Balthasar and Noah Watt secured their maiden Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe win in the final race of the season at Paul Ricard, while Dean Stoneman (Bonaldi Motorsport) wrapped up the title with a second-place finish. Stoneman’s chief championship rival Kevin Gilardoni (Oregon Team) had been running ahead of Stoneman early in the race, but his title aspirations disappeared following a spin at Turn 2.
