Rimac Unveils 1900 HP Concept Two EV Hypercar

Rimac has revealed its Concept Two EV hypercar Tuesday at the Geneva Motor Show, with specs that could soon place it as the world’s fastest production car.

According to the Croatian manufacturer, the Concept Two’s four independent electric motors that combine to produce 1,914 horsepower and 2,300 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 258 mph.

That compares to the Bugatti Chiron, which packs 1,479 horsepower into its eight-liter quad-turbo W16 engine.

Rimac says its Concept Two can go from 0-60 mph in 1.85 seconds, which would also beat projections for Tesla’s new Roadster.

The all-wheel-drive hypercar features a dual 120 kWh battery pack, with an estimated range of 403 miles.

Loads of technology will be packed into the car, including facial recognition and Level 4 autonomy.

The manufacturer has not yet confirmed pricing or availability, although is expected to fetch in excess of $1 million and around 150 cars to be produced.
