“The Indiana based team to run F4 Championship”
Returning to the racing scene, Miller Vinatieri Leguizamon Motorsports has been formed to compete in the North American open-wheel racing scene. The team is based in Westfield, Indiana and is owned by Dr. Jack Miller and Adam Vinatieri, both professionals in their respective sports. Miller is a three-time Indy 500 driver and has an extensive background in the racing industry. Vinatieri is an NFL star, notably known as a four-time Super Bowl champion. Also partnering with the team is former Indy Lights Team Owner Chris Williams as well as Blue Marble Premium Cocktails, the primary sponsor of the Indiana based program. Mitch Davis will serve as the crew chief and team manager as they are set to contest the United States Formula 4 Championship powered by Honda.
The season is already looking promising for the Indiana based team, as they have signed five drivers to run the full Formula 4 Championship series. The team consists of three veteran drivers, returning from last season as well as two rookie drivers, new to the formula car scene. Baltazar Leguizamon will be piloting the #45 car, a veteran to the Formula 4 series, with multiple podium results last season. Alan Miller, also a veteran to the F4 circuit, will be driving the #65 car. Miller ran a race last year in the F4 Championship series, and also runs radical cars. Austin Kaszuba is the third veteran joining the MVL squad, coming into the season with a podium finish in the series in 2016. He will be behind the wheel of the #34 car.
Jack William Miller is one of two rookies joining the team, and will be piloting the #40 car. Although he is a rookie on the F4 scene, he has a decade of karting experience and will put it to use for a successful first season in formula cars. Looking to build off multiple days of testing, Miller will be one of the youngest drivers in the series, but hungry for race wins and podium results. Lawson Nagel will also be joining the team as an F4 rookie, driving the #96. Nagel has a successful karting background, wanting to expand his experience to formula cars.
MVL Motorsports is looking forward to the start of the season. The team has been spending an ample amount of time testing and tuning to prepare for the first race.
