The new version of the French F4 FIA Championship is preparing to give France a major role in the detection and rise of young motorsport talents. The introduction of the new Mygale / Renault F4 FIA reinforces the attractiveness of the widely appreciated training organised by the FFSA Academy. Benefiting from the support of Renault Sport Racing, the French Formula 4 series now offers the best opportunities for developing the Champions of tomorrow.

The preliminary tests of the 2018 season experienced a record influx with no less than 37 drivers coming to Le Mans to try the new car. Pierre Gasly’s arrival in Formula 1 with the Toro Rosso team, a driver trained in the FFSA Academy in 2011, reminded everyone of the efficiency of the FFSA initiative. The winners of the 2017 season, Arthur Rougier and Victor Martins, will have the chance to follow the same path by making their debut in FR 2.0 this year with the support of the Renault Sport Academy, partner of the French F4 FIA Championship.

The 2018 season is about to fill up with candidates for the title of French F4 FIA Champion. The best of French karting will go on the offensive in single-seaters in the presence of many hopefuls from other countries to seize their chance in France.

Among the names already known, the Frenchmen Theo Nouet, Adam Eteki, Théo Pourchaire, Pierre-Louis Chovet, Reshad De Gerus, Sacha Lehmann, Matteo Herrero and Gavin Aimable, face drivers like Ulysse De Pauw (BEL), Noah Watt (DNK), Caio Collet (BRA), Arthur Leclerc (MCO) and Baptiste Moulin (BEL), in a championship more competitive ever.

With its calendar of seven meetings including three races each, the French F4 FIA Championship will visit the biggest French and European circuits in 2018.

# 1 – March 31 to April 1: Nogaro
# 2 – May 11th to 13th: Pau
